Area boy destroys Portable’s car in Ogun

A suspected hoodlum has allegedly destroyed a car belonging to Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, in the Abeokuta area of Ogun State.

Portable disclosed this in a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

The controversial singer said his Chevrolet SUV was damaged during a visit to Abeokuta for a performance.

The Zazu Zeh crooner, in the video, displayed his SUV with a shattered window, saying it was broken during an encounter with some individuals who approached him claiming to be his fans.

Portable said while he was engaging with the crowd, one person struck the window of his vehicle, causing it to break despite it being an imported bulletproof car from the United States.

Portable, who expressed shock over how easily the glass shattered, said the individual responsible had been apprehended by the police.

The singer also appealed to his fans for support in repairing the damage to his bulletproof Chevrolet, which he claimed is one of only three of its type in Nigeria.
