Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has agreed to join Ligue 1 side Marseille on loan.
It’s understood a number of clubs want to sign the midfielder, but it’s thought Marseille’s style of play would be good for his development, according to Sky Sports.
Nwaneri has been limited to four starts this season, but none in the Premier League.
Nwaneri signed a new five-year contract in August to run until 2030 and is seen as a big part of Arsenal’s long-term plans.
Nwaneri is in Milan with the squad ahead of tonight’s Champions League game against Inter.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the development on Tuesday.
Romano wrote on X: “Ethan Nwaneri has accepted to join Olympique Marseille! Arsenal also believe it’s the best solution on loan.
“Arteta also spoke with Roberto de Zerbi and OM seen as ideal solution.
“Straight loan deal at final stages, no buy option clause — expected to be agreed soon.”
