Asake unites with family after rift

Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has reconciled with his father, daughter, and baby mama, bringing an end to weeks of public scrutiny over alleged family neglect.

The reunion comes months after the singer faced criticism online for reportedly abandoning his family despite his rise to fame and wealth.

Earlier in 2025, Asake was publicly called out by his baby mama, Adijat, who accused him of neglecting her and their daughter despite her support during his early career struggles.

In March 2025, his father, Fatai Odunsi, a stroke survivor, also accused the singer of neglect, sparking outrage among fans and celebrities alike.

Following the backlash, Asake reportedly reached out to his father, pledging to cover his medical expenses and provide him with a new home.

A photograph of the singer with his father, which went viral on Friday morning, marked a visible sign of reconciliation.

Reports indicate that Asake had also reunited with his daughter and her mother, signaling an apparent resolution to the family tensions that had played out publicly.

The development has been welcomed by fans, many of whom celebrated the singer’s efforts to restore harmony within his family.
