Content creator and actress Ashmushy says 2025 was a defining year of recovery, growth, and spiritual grounding, marking a major shift in both her personal life and creative approach.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, she said the year forced her to rebuild and rethink her work.

“Describing my 2025, I would term it a year of recovery because that is the first word that comes to mind,” she stated.

One of her biggest risks, she revealed, was travelling to the United States without a concrete plan — a decision she says paid off. While abroad, she sought new knowledge, business ideas, and creative direction.

She also launched a new YouTube show, Court of Chaos, which she describes as a major step in her career expansion.

On the soundtrack of her year, Ashmushy pointed to Chandler Moore’s gospel track Omemma, saying its message captured her reliance on faith through uncertain moments.

“It’s the song I sang all through the year. It’s about Jesus — God taking the wheel,” she said.

Reflecting on her content evolution, she noted that 2025 taught her to abandon the belief that she had to be loud or aggressive to keep viewers engaged.

According to her, adopting a calmer tone improved both her delivery and audience connection.

“I tried sounding calmer because I used to think I had to shout to make my videos interesting.

“But when I tried a calmer tone, it worked,” she said.

Ashmushy says this shift toward a more intentional, composed style marks the beginning of a new creative chapter — one she plans to build on in the coming year.
