ASUU declares strike in Bayelsa varsity

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at the Niger Delta University (NDU) in Bayelsa State, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, declared an indefinite strike over the government’s alleged failure to honour agreements reached with the union.

ASUU announced the strike during a meeting at the union’s secretariat in the Amassoma area of Bayelsa State.

The university is owned by the Bayelsa State Government.
