The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, May 13, 2024, met with former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi in Abuja.
Atiku disclosed this via a post on his social media accounts on Monday.
“It was my honour and privilege to host Peter Obi today,” the former Vice President wrote.

The details of the meeting, which was the first between the two politicians since the end of the 2023 general election, remained unknown.
Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, was the running mate to Atiku in the 2019 general election.
The former governor however dumped PDP for LP in 2022.
