Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele, on Monday submitted the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for his re-election as a senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bamidele in a statement issued by his Media Office in Abuja pledged to attract more dividends of democracy to the people of Ekiti Central if re-elected for a second term.
Bamidele submitted the forms in company of his political associates at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, as scheduled by the leadership of the ruling party.
Recall that the former member House of Representatives had earlier purchased the forms on April 28, signalling his re-election bid.

The statement quoted him as thanking the leadership of APC in Ekiti and party members for their continuous support towards his re-election.
“Today Bamidele submitted his Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
“Bamidele, after submitting the forms appreciated the leadership of APC in Ekiti and members of the party for their continuous support towards his re-election to the upper chamber in 2023.”
