Bandits have abducted five persons, including two women, during an attack on Gidan Maman Bazamfare in Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
It was gathered that the victims were kidnapped at about 6 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, when the assailants, armed with AK-47 rifles and other dangerous weapons, invaded the community and whisked away the residents.

Security agencies were said to have since intensified efforts to locate the whereabouts of the victims and ensure their safe rescue.
The Zamfara State Police Command has yet to speak on the incident as of press time.
