It was gathered that the victims, including a nursing mother with three children and an infant, were abducted by the bandits during an attack on the community in the early hours of Thursday, September 5, 2024.

A youth leader in the area, Zacharia Musa, disclosed that the bandits stormed the community in large numbers while the residents were still asleep and moved from house to house to kidnap the locals.

It was further learnt that bandits attacked Dan Honu II, New Millennium City, also in Chikun Local Government of Kaduna State where they abducted some residents.

The Kaduna State Police Command has, however, yet to speak on the incident.
