Bandits kill 2 police officers in Kaduna

Bandits have killed two police officers in Zonkwa, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the incident on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Hasan stated that an investigation was underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Six KIU students injured in road crash after social event in Maiduguri

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Friday evening at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Zonkwa, Headquarters of Zangon Kataf LGA.

Sources disclosed that the bandits stormed the police station in an attempt to free suspected vandals earlier arrested in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

However, it was later learnt that the suspects were not being held at the police station.
