Spanish giants Barcelona are preparing to submit a third bid to Manchester City for Rodri as they continue efforts to secure the Spain midfielder’s signature.
This comes after City rejected a new £55 million bid from Barcelona for Rodri.
Last week, Barcelona had an initial offer in the region of £40 million knocked back.
On Thursday, the LaLiga champions offered between £55 million, but their new offer was still not enough for City.

City are seeking upwards of £60 million for the 30-year-old midfielder, who has entered the final year of his deal.
Confirming Barca’s next move on Friday, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on X: “Barcelona are returning with third proposal for Rodri to Manchester City.
“After €50m and €60m packages both rejected, direct club to club talks to continue half way between €60m last bid and €80m fee requested.”
