BBNaija: Why Doyin’ll win season 7 show — Group

The Deelights Fan Group has said one of the housemates for the ongoing television reality show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), Doyin David, would be the worthy winner of the show.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Deelights Fan Group, said: “We don’t just want a winner who has been decided from Day 1 because of optics but one who has set the trends for discussions consistently from the beginning of the show and has entertained us in many ways.”

The group stated that Doyin, a medical radiographer, is one of the women who have delivered the required energy for the BBNaija show from their level of intelligence to dedication at tasks, and entertaining viewers.

It added: “Doyin set the social media streets on fire right from her first night in the house. She has been audacious, daring, brutally honest sometimes and has presented her real self one hundred percent as expected from a reality show star.

“One would think with the way Doyin has delivered all-round content without even being in a ‘ship’ as the other contenders, she would be considered a deserving winner.

“Anyone used to the Big Brother audience will know that most people dislike honest and real housemates. Especially those that haven’t given them relationship content but they need to remember that there are shows solely created for relationships; Ultimate Love, Love Island etc.

“The BBN show is a reality show where you do not need to couple up to show your real self. In fact, we appreciate people who can play the game solo and still give us what we need. This is what Doyin David has done and we would love to see her win the show this year.

“Doyin got into the house to take on new challenges in the creative and entertainment industry. She is trained to take care of people as a medical practitioner and has been nicknamed

“The Therapist in the house because of how housemates go to her to discuss their personal issues with her. Unsurprisingly, these same people nominate her for eviction constantly because they think she is too diplomatic forgetting that this is how she has been trained to be.

“The hypocritical nature of humans make it hard to accept that someone can be beautiful, kind and still successful. We wonder what the society wants from women who make their own paths and strive to succeed in it.

“There is a certainty that Doyin has made you feel so many things while watching her. She gives us deeper insights into the lives of other housemates, makes us laugh with her happy go lucky attitude, brings tears to our eyes when she is being human in her raw form and causes us to swell with pride when she excels at tasks.

“She is not perfect but isn’t that what makes us inherently human?” the Deelights Fan Group said.
