Real Madrid have announced the signing of Bernardo Silva after reaching the end of his contract at Manchester City.
The Spanish giants confirmed they have agreed a two-year contract with Silva, tying him to the Bernabeu until 2028.
“Real Madrid CF and Bernardo Silva have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2028,” the club said in a statement on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old midfielder, who is currently with Portugal at the World Cup, spent nine years with Manchester City, scoring 76 goals in 460 games and winning 16 major trophies.

His signing comes barely two days after Real completed the signing of Spain defender Marc Cucurella from Chelsea on a six-year deal.
Real have reappointed Jose Mourinho as head coach, while deals for Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries have also been secured.
