Bird strike halts Air Peace flight at Kano airport

An Air Peace aircraft, on Monday, failed to fly and dropped down over a bird strike at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.

It was gathered that the aircraft which was billed for take-off at 04.35 p.m. eventually took off at 05.10 p.m. but failed to gather enough momentum to fly.

It was learned that the incident threw the passengers aboard the aircraft into pandemonium before the pilot could safely taxi the plane to the apron.

The airline has yet to speak on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
