The immediate past Secretary to Borno State Government, Usman Jidda-Shuwa, is dead.
It was gathered that Jidda-Shuwa, who was Governor Babagana Zulum’s SSG, passed away after a brief illness at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) on Saturday, June 3.
It was learned that the deceased was at the Muhammadu Buhari Airport in Maiduguri where he was suddenly rushed to the hospital for an unknown illness.

The deputy governor of Borno State, Usman Kadafur, confirmed the demise of the former SSG.
