Herdsmen have killed no fewer than 34 people in Mgban, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
It was gathered that the people were killed by the herdsmen while taking refuge at a primary school in Mgban at about 10 p.m. on Friday, April 7.
Speaking on the incident, the Chairman of Guma Local Government Area, Mike Aba, said 24 bodies were evacuated from the classrooms where the residents were taking refuge.

Aba, who spoke through the security officer of the local government, Christopher Waku, said another 10 corpses were picked on the road.
The incident was confirmed by the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene.
