President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of the United Bank for Africa (UBA), Tony Elumelu, and Abdul Samad of BUA, among other representatives of the organised private sector at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Though the agenda of the meeting could not be immediately ascertained, it comes amidst the federal government’s efforts to tackle economic challenges, including the depreciation of naira and escalating food crises in the country.
Vice President Kasim Shettima is also present at the meeting.
