BUA Cement Plc has declared a profit before tax of N88.8 billion for the third quarter of 2022.
The result shows a significant increase from the N74.3 billion profit recorded in the same period of 2021.
Profit after tax equally grew from N65.9 billion to N74 billion in the same period.
The firm paid a tax of N14.796 billion for the period.
In its audited report for the third quarter ended 30 September 2022, the cement giant’s revenue for the third quarter stood at N262.59 billion as against N186.9 billion in the corresponding period in 2021.
The cement company put the cost of sales for the period at N142.8 billion.
Its total assets stand at N781.6 billion for the period.
BUA Cement Plc is largely owned by Alhaji Rabiu Abdulsamad.
