BUA Cement Plc has recognised and rewarded 30 of its best-performing distributors across Nigeria at the 2025 edition of its annual Distributors’ Awards, held at the Eko Hotels and Suites Convention Centre in Lagos.

Outstanding distributors received a range of prizes including cash awards, Sports Utility Vehicles, and compressed natural gas trucks across four categories — Regional Champions, Pacesetters, Powerhouse, and Market Dominators.

The two top-ranked distributors each received cash prizes alongside two CNG trucks, while other leading distributors were presented with one CNG truck each in addition to monetary rewards.

Ten distributors were awarded brand new 2025 Toyota RAV4 vehicles alongside cash prizes, while Regional Champions received 900 bags of cement each.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of BUA Cement, Engr. Yusuf Binji, commended the distributors for their commitment and resilience, saying the company remains focused on strengthening partnerships across its value chain.

“We see you, we value you, and we are working tirelessly to improve our supply chain to make your businesses safer and more profitable,” he said.

The Chairman of BUA Cement, Abdul Samad Rabiu, described the awards as a reflection of the company’s appreciation for the loyalty and performance of its distribution network, noting that distributors go beyond selling cement to serve as key contributors to socio-economic development across the country.

Rabiu also announced a N30 per bag bonus for all dealers on volumes purchased in 2025, with a total of N4.5 billion earmarked for the initiative.

He added that the company is expanding production capacity through the addition of Line 6 in Sokoto and a forthcoming three million tonnes per annum plant in Ososo.

The event was attended by prominent industry leaders and business partners, including Dangote Group Chairman Aliko Dangote.
