Former President Muhammadu Buhari has enjoined Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Buhari urged Nigerians to “give their blessings and support” to his successor’s administration “so that it can succeed in its efforts to build a Nigeria of our dreams”.
The former president said this in a statement issued by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

He further extended his “best wishes” to President Tinubu on the completion of his first year in office.
Tinubu, who took office on May 29, 2023, will reach his one-year mark in office on Wednesday.
Buhari also expressed his wish for “a successful tenure in office” by Tinubu’s administration.
