Voting at Polling Unit 001, Fegge, in Onitsha, Anambra State, during the 2025 gubernatorial election has been delayed due to a malfunctioning Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine.

As at 9:55 a.m., no voter accreditation had taken place, and no votes had been recorded.

Election officials were reported to be waiting for a replacement machine, our correspondent Eyitope Kuteyi observed.
