The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, has arrived in Yelwata town in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, where scores were killed in a coordinated attack on Friday night.
Musa’s visit followed the prolonged attacks on communities in Benue State by gunmen.
IGP arrives Benue, deploys more police officers to end killings

The CDS is expected to meet with Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia in the Government House before leaving.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has also arrived in the state.
