Nigeria’s technology and telecommunications company, Globacom, has conveyed warm Christmas greetings to Christians in Nigeria and across the world as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the company described Christmas as a season for deep reflection, calling on Christians to live by the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly love, humility, obedience to God and commitment to the wellbeing of humanity.
Globacom noted that the humble circumstances surrounding Christ’s birth offer enduring lessons on selflessness, compassion and service to others.
It urged Christians to consciously practice these virtues in their daily lives as true followers of Christ.
The company also emphasized the importance of caring for one another, recalling biblical accounts of Jesus feeding the multitude as a reminder of the need to share and support the less privileged, especially during difficult times.
Globacom encouraged Nigerians to sustain the spirit of Christmas beyond the festivities by promoting peace, love and unity in their communities.
Reaffirming its commitment to customers, the telecommunications firm assured subscribers of uninterrupted, high-quality services throughout the holiday period and encouraged them to use its innovative products and services to remain connected with family and friends and spread the joy of the season.
