A news item published on Sunday, August 6, 2023 edition of The Star with titled: ‘N4bn fraud: Kano agency drags ex-KASCO MD, 4 others to court’ contained a wrong photograph.
In the report, the photograph of Kano State Head of Civil Service, Usman Bala Muhammad, mni, was wrongly used instead of the photograph of Bala Inuwa Muhammed, a former Managing Director of the state Agricultural Supply Company Limited (KASCO).
We sincerely regret the discomfort the wrongful use of the photograph has caused Mr. Muhammad. We tender our unreserved apology.
We hold Mr. Muhammad in high esteem and we have no intention, now or in future, to do anything to impugn his reputation.
