A Magistrate Court sitting in the Kuje area of Abuja has remanded the brother of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, Emmanuel Kanu, and his lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, alongside 10 others in Kuje Correctional Centre.
The defendants were remanded on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
This followed their arrest during the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest in Abuja on Monday.
It was gathered that the police charged the defendants for inciting disturbance and breach of public peace in disobedience to a court order.

“The magistrate seating in Kuje remanded Bar Aloy Ejimakor the lead counsel in Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case and Prince Emmanuel kanu his youngest brother. This is a conspiracy from the executive, legislative and judiciary to frustrate Kanu’s trial on Thursday,” Kanu’s younger brother, Kanuta Kanu, wrote on X.
