Davido, father, Osun governor visit Tinubu in Lagos

Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, visited President Bola Tinubu at his residence in Lagos.

Joining the singer were his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke, and his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The reasons behind the visit could not be ascertained as of press time.

However, the visit comes barely a few days after Davido visited Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Davido met with the president alongside celebrity businessman Cubana Chief Priest and music executive Ubi Franklin.

During the Abuja meeting, the singer introduced his companions to Tinubu as “loyal members” of the All Progressives Congress (APC) — a declaration that has stirred political conversations, especially given his uncle’s affiliation with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
