Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has set August 11, 2026, as an exclusive live premiere date for his forthcoming album, ‘Oriade’, in London, the United Kingdom.
Davido announced this in a post on his X account on Friday, July 24.
The singer wrote: “London! Join me on 11th August at the O2 Forum Kentish Town for a very special show. 🇬🇧
“This will be the first and only chance to hear Oriade performed live, so if you want to experience the new album before anyone else. 👑🔥 Tickets are on sale now I’ll see you there!”
Davido had earlier announced to his teeming fans that Oriade, his sixth studio album, would be released on July 31.
Derived from the Yoruba words “ori” (destiny) and “adé” (crown), Oriade translates to “the crowned head”.
According to him, the album, with lead single “I Know Who I Be”, is to mark his 15 years in music.

Davido told Billboard: “Over fifteen years ago, I decided to trust something I couldn’t fully explain. I just knew music was my destiny.
“The biggest blessings often come from betting on yourself, even when the destination isn’t in sight yet.”
The lead single “I Know Who I Be,” featuring South African producers Jazzwrld and GL Ceejay, is already out and gives the first real taste of where this album is headed.
The 13-track Oriade is a deliberate shift back to his original, high-energy African sound rather than heavily pop-focused cross-overs.
It follows his 2025 Billboard chart hit album “5ive”.
