Tiwa Savage had confirmed that some assailants attacked her residence in Lagos State on Thursday, April 13.

The famous singer, in a statement issued on Friday, April 14, by her management, said she escaped from a security breach at her residence.

She added that some suspects were arrested and are currently detained at Alagbon Police Station in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.

There were reports earlier that the musician’s private security vigilance and the police saved her from the assailants.

It was further gathered that the failed plot was allegedly planned by Tiwa Savage’s domestic staff, who had been entrusted with vital information about her.

Sources said the domestic staff had been trailing the singer as she left her home and shared the information with other members of the alleged kidnapping gang.

Confirming the incident on Saturday, the FCID spokesperson, CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi, said four suspects have been arrested by the police.

“Yes, we have some suspects, they are in our custody. They are about four,” Ogundeyi told NAN.
