Nigerian music mogul Michael Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has revealed that his inability to stay sexually committed to one woman is one of the key reasons he remains unmarried.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Nancy Isime Show, the 42-year-old Mavin Records boss opened up about his personal views on love, fidelity, and relationships. He admitted that while he values honesty, he doesn’t believe he has the discipline to be faithful in a monogamous relationship.
“I don’t believe I’m strong enough to be with only one person,” Don Jazzy confessed. “People might run away from me for being truthful, but I won’t lie to anyone just to keep them in a relationship.”
He acknowledged that some people possess the ability to stay committed once they find a partner, but said that his attraction to other women doesn’t simply vanish because he’s dating someone.
“The fact that you’re a beautiful woman doesn’t stop me from admiring another beautiful woman,” he added.
His candid remarks echo recent controversial comments made by fellow artist 2Baba, who also claimed that men aren’t naturally wired to be sexually committed to one woman. Following public backlash, 2Baba issued a public apology to his wife and fans.
In an emotional video, 2Baba said: “I really messed up with what I said. I wanted people to understand me, but I expressed it poorly. I’m sorry to my wife, Natasha, and to everyone who looks up to me.”
While Don Jazzy’s honesty has sparked a mix of reactions, it has also reignited broader conversations around commitment, transparency, and evolving relationship dynamics in today’s society.
