The operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have reportedly arrested the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kingsley Obiora.
It was gathered that the CBN Deputy Governor has spent four nights in the custody of the DSS in Abuja.
According to Peoples Gazette, Obiora was arrested in connection with allegations of financial mismanagement under the leadership of the suspended CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.

Emefiele was suspended by President Bola Tinubu on June 9, 2023, following an investigation into the affairs of the apex bank.
The suspended CBN boss was arrested the following day and has since been in DSS detention despite the court admitting him to bail.
Meanwhile, the DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, has yet to speak on the arrest of Obiora as of press time.
