DSS arrests man for calling for military coup on social media

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested one Innocent Chukwuma for allegedly using his social media account to advocate for a military takeover in Nigeria.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama revealed the arrest on Wednesday via his official X handle, stating that DSS operatives traced Chukwuma to Oyigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he was apprehended.

Chukwuma, who operates the X handle @TheAgroman, had reportedly posted messages urging Nigerians to support the military and calling for the suspension of the current government.

According to sources cited by Makama, the suspect is now in custody and cooperating with DSS investigators as the agency continues its probe into the matter.
