The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in the Badawa area of Kano.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the EFCC on Friday, March 1, 2024.
The anti-graft agency noted that the suspects were arrested following intelligence signalling a syndicate of suspected internet fraudsters perpetrating cyber-related crimes where they were apprehended in Kano.

It added that several incriminating items were recovered from the suspects.
The EFCC said the suspected internet fraudsters will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
