EFCC arrests 17 internet fraudsters in Nasarawa, recovers 5 cars

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, arrested 17 suspected internet fraudsters in Nasarawa State.

The suspected internet fraudsters were apprehended in the Mararaba area of Nasarawa State.

The EFCC, in a statement on Tuesday, said the suspects were apprehended following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related crime.

Police probe sexual abuse of 12-year-old boy in Bauchi

The EFCC listed items recovered from the suspects to include five cars, 20 phones, and four laptops.

The anti-graft agency added that the suspected internet fraudsters will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
