The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested no fewer than 36 suspected internet fraudsters, including a woman, in Kaduna State.
The suspected internet fraudsters, comprising 35 males and one female, were arrested at Sabo Kaduna and Narayi Highcoast and Layin Dogon Iche Samaru in the Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The EFCC, in a statement issued on Saturday, disclosed that the suspects were apprehended on Friday, February 23, 2024, following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.

The anti-graft agency listed items recovered from the suspects to include 43 phones and five laptops.
It added that the suspected internet fraudsters will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
