Eid-el-Kabir: Gov Bala Mohammed urges unity, embrace virtues of sacrifice

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has extended warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to the Muslim Ummah and the entire people of Bauchi State, urging all citizens to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, unity, and compassion during the festive period.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, Governor Mohammed described the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as a time to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), whose act of obedience and faith is at the heart of the Sallah festival.

The Governor called on residents of Bauchi State to use the occasion to promote peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and harmony among all people, irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political affiliations.

“Let us remember to be our brothers’ keepers,” he said.

He noted that Bauchi State’s progress and development rely on the collective efforts of its people in maintaining peace and unity.
