Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani
Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has called on the Muslim faithful and all citizens of the state to reflect on the values of obedience, sacrifice, and compassion as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, June 6, 2025, the governor congratulates Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, describing it as a sacred period that commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and obedience to the command of Allah (SWT).
“Eid-el-Kabir is not just a celebration; it is a call to sacrifice, compassion, and submission to the will of Almighty Allah,” Governor Sani said. “It reminds us to embody these virtues in our daily lives, especially by sharing our blessings with the less privileged.”
The governor urged well-to-do citizens to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s spirit of giving by reaching out to the needy and promoting kindness and social solidarity.
Reflecting on the broader significance of the festival, he emphasized that Hajj, which culminates in Eid-el-Kabir, symbolizes unity, equality, and spiritual renewal, and urged Muslims to draw inspiration from the spiritual lessons of the pilgrimage.

“Despite challenges, we’ve recorded remarkable achievements, and we are committed to doing more.”
He expressed gratitude to the people of Kaduna for their support and urged them to remain united, peaceful, and hopeful.
He also encouraged prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all national leaders, that they may receive divine guidance in steering the country toward progress.
Sani concluded his message with warm wishes to those traveling for the Sallah celebration, praying for their safety and joyful reunions with loved ones.
