Eid-el-Kabir: Uba Sani hosts Islamic clerics, vows to develop Kaduna

A high-powered delegation of Kaduna-based Islamic clerics, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, paid Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani a Sallah homage.

The Islamic clerics visited the governor at the Government House in Kaduna to felicitate with him on the occasion of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations.

Speaking, the Chief Imam of Al-Manar mosque, Dr Tukur Adam, said the visit was in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Adam stated that Islam enjoins Muslims to pay homage to their leaders to celebrate with them during such festive periods, before their parents, traditional rulers, and Islamic clerics.

The Chief Imam commended Sani for his people-centred policies which he said have been bringing succour to the common man in Kaduna State.

According to Adam, the governor’s style of administration has brought about peace and development, praying that Allah should guide him on the right path.

Also speaking, the Chief Imam of Maiduguri road, Prof. Yahya Mujahid, thanked Allah “for allowing us to witness another Eid in peace.”

He recalled that Governor Sani’s administration has enabled the people of Kaduna State to look for their means of sustenance without fear of molestation.

“Property owners no longer fear demolition. Plot owners are now not afraid that their title documents will be revoked. Workers do not fear arbitrary sack,” Mujahid said.

The road Chief Imam noted that Allah will reward any leader who brings succour to the people, praying that He rewards the governor for his good deeds.
