#Election2023: Hoodlums destroy voting materials in Bayelsa

Some hoodlums, on Saturday morning, hijacked and destroyed voting materials meant for the House of Assembly election in Wards 2, 3, 4, and 5 in constituency five of the Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Reacting, Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah, condemned the incident.

The governor urged the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and the Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police to restore peace in the area.
