World’s richest person, Elon Musk, has denied having a romantic affair with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Google co-founder, Sergey Brin.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), on Sunday, reported that the longtime friendship between billionaires Musk and Brin ended after the former allegedly had an affair with Brin’s wife last year, which led to the couple’s divorce.
According to WSJ, anonymous sources disclosed that the affair between Musk and Brin’s wife took place in December at the Art Basel festival in Miami, while Shanahan and the Google co-founder were separated but still sharing a home.
The paper added that Brin reportedly filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences the following month, several weeks after he became aware of the affair.
Reacting to the report, Musk, who took to his verified Twitter handle on Monday, said he and Brin remain friends.

“This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night!
“I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic,” the Tesla CEO stated.
The reported affair is coming barely a few weeks after Musk was said to have fathered twins with a woman who worked for him at Tesla before she was hired on as a top executive at his brain-implant startup, Neuralink.
Following the report, Musk tweeted he was “doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis”.
