Emir of Kano pays condolence visit to the UAE Embassy in Abuja over the President's death
The Emir of Kano, Alh Aminu Ado Bayero, has condoled with the government and people of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over the demise of the President of the country, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, who died at the age of 73.
The Emir expressed his condolences during his visit to the United Arab Emirates Chancery in Abuja on Friday.
Bayero, who just returned to the country from Senegal, said the Middle East and international community lost a leader who had contributed selflessly towards the maintenance of international peace and security.

He said Kano Emirate was saddened by the President’s irreparable loss just as he prayed that the new President will continue to build on the good works of late Zayed.
He added that the late President will forever be remembered for his generosity and philanthropic contributions for the sake of humanity.
President Zayed died last Friday at the age of 73.
He was President of the UAE since 2004.
