The management of Enyimba FC has suspended Coach Stanley Eguma and his two assistants, following the club’s poor results in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The suspension was announced via a letter addressed to Eguma on Monday.
Eguma and his assistants, Ndubuisi Nduka and Joseph Boma, were suspended indefinitely.
The suspension came in the aftermath of the club’s 1-0 loss to visiting Wikki Tourist of Bauchi at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba, Abia State, on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the management has asked one of the club’s assistant coaches, Lawrence Ukaegbu, to take charge of the training sessions in interim capacity.
Ukaegbu was also directed to take charge of the team’s preparations ahead of the match day 14 encounter against Katsina United in Jos on Sunday.
The management had earlier issued a two-match ultimatum to Eguma to produce positive results against Kano Pillars and Abia Warriors.
The two matches produced four points as the club defeated Kano Pillars at home and played a draw against Abia Warriors in Umuahia.
