FA Cup fixtures: Man City host Liverpool as Arsenal chase treble in quarter-finals

Manchester City host Liverpool in the standout tie of the FA Cup quarter-finals this weekend, with Mohamed Salah aiming to end his nine-year spell at Anfield on a high.

Arsenal and Chelsea are expected to progress to the semi-finals as they face lower-tier opposition in their respective fixtures, while West Ham and Leeds put their battle for Premier League survival on hold in a bid to reach the last four.

City head into the clash in strong form after defeating Arsenal 2-0 to win the Carabao Cup before the international break.

City are also chasing a domestic treble, hoping to replicate their historic 2018/19 achievement.

Liverpool face a crucial period, with the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League their only remaining chances for silverware.

After facing City, Liverpool will take on Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the Champions League quarter-finals scheduled for April 8 and 14.

Manager Arne Slot is under pressure to finish the season strongly, with Liverpool currently sitting fifth in the Premier League.

Salah has also confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season after scoring 255 goals for the club.

Chelsea head into their tie under pressure following four straight defeats, with manager Liam Rosenior facing uncertainty over his future.

Guardiola to Arsenal: Premier League title race not over

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will also be concerned by injuries after several key players withdrew from international duty.

Meanwhile, West Ham United and Leeds United will pause their relegation battle as they meet for a place in the semi-finals.

Both sides see the FA Cup as an opportunity to revive their seasons, with Leeds seeking their first semi-final since 1987 and West Ham aiming for their first in 20 years.
