FCTA to construct new INEC headquarters in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has announced plans to construct a new headquarters for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja. The new edifice will be located in the Maitama district of the Federal Capital Territory.

According to Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to officially flag off the construction of the new INEC headquarters next week.

This development is part of a broader initiative by the FCTA to commemorate President Tinubu’s second year in office.

In May, Wike disclosed that the president would inaugurate several completed projects and also launch new ones in celebration of the anniversary.
