The Federal Government, through the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), has announced the commencement of recruitment into four key paramilitary agencies.

The recruitment covers the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

According to an official statement, the recruitment exercise begins on Thursday, June 26, 2025, and will last for three weeks. Interested applicants are to submit their applications online via the official CDCFIB portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.org.

Vacancies are available across various ranks—superintendent, inspectorate, and assistant cadres. Opportunities exist for professionals such as doctors, nurses, lawyers, and engineers, alongside graduates and diploma holders from diverse fields.

Additionally, positions are open to SSCE or NECO holders for general duties, including drivers, artisans, and equipment operators.

To be eligible, applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth, between the ages of 18 and 35, and must possess the appropriate qualifications for their chosen roles.

They are also required to present a medical fitness certificate from a recognized government hospital and must have no record of criminal conviction or financial misconduct.

Male applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall and have a minimum chest measurement of 0.87 meters, while female applicants must be no less than 1.60 meters in height.

Computer literacy will be considered an added advantage.

Applicants are strictly advised to apply for only one of the four services, as multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.

The CDCFIB urges all qualified and interested candidates to apply within the stipulated period.
