An official of Fidelity Bank, Emmanuel Ebere, has been confirmed dead after he slumped at the Awolowo, Ikoyi branch of the bank in Lagos State.
It was learned that Ebere, who was attached to the Information and Communication Technology unit of the bank, was rushed to the Military Hospital, Ikoyi, where he was confirmed dead by doctors.
It was gathered that the Fidelity Bank Regional Security Officer, (names withheld) alerted policemen at the Ikoyi Division after the incident occurred on Wednesday.

Ebere’s demise was further confirmed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, saying: “Based on the report, a team of detectives from the Ikoyi Division visited the hospital and examined the corpse.
“No mark of violence was seen on the body. The corpse has been evacuated and deposited at the Marina General Hospital morgue for autopsy,” the police spokesman disclosed.
