A fire outbreak has destroyed goods worth millions of naira at the popular SPAR Mall in Calabar, Cross River State.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning, August 22, with thick smoke reportedly billowing from parts of the shopping complex as the fire spread through some sections.
Several shops within the mall were affected, with goods and other properties reportedly destroyed in the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains unknown as of the time of filing this report, while the full extent of the damage is yet to be established.
