Fire razes 10 shops in Zamfara

A fire outbreak has gutted ten shops in a shopping complex located in the Garejin Mai Lena area of Gusau Local Government Area, Zamfara State.

The incident, which occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, led to significant property losses estimated to be worth millions of naira.

Eyewitnesses said the fire was eventually contained through a combined effort by security personnel and local residents who helped to put out the blaze.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were recorded.

Authorities have since launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, while efforts are ongoing to fully assess the extent of the damage.
