A private jet operated by Flybird Airlines crash-landed at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) on Sunday morning, triggering brief panic at the facility.
The aircraft, which arrived from Abuja, was carrying 11 people, including three crew members, when the incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m., eyewitnesses told Independent.
Passengers were safely evacuated moments after the landing, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.
Airport authorities swiftly cordoned off the area as emergency response teams moved in to secure the scene and commence preliminary investigations into the cause of the crash-landing.
