For impregnating another lady, wife murders hotelier husband

For impregnating another lady, the wife of a popular hotelier in Lagos has murdered her husband.

The deceased, known as Bama, was the owner of the popular Bama Hotel and Suites, Abule-Egba, Lagos.

Bama was reportedly stabbed in his sleep after being drugged by his wife of eight years and mother of his three children on Monday night.

The wife took the action after finding out that her husband had impregnated another lady.

The couple, according to reports gathered, recently returned from Dubai when the unfortunate incident occurred.

The Police in Lagos have arrested the wife and three others in connection with the death.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, said the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Yaba Mainland Hospital’s morgue for autopsy.

He said: “The deceased’s wife and three others had been arrested in connection with the suspected murder case.

“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed that the case be transferred immediately to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, for diligent investigation.”
