Bejide, the wife of a former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Ali Olanusi, has been confirmed dead.
Bejide, it was gathered, died on Tuesday after a brief illness at the age of 77.
Her husband was the deputy to former Governor Olusegun Mimiko between 2009 and 2015.
Meanwhile, the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commiserated with the Olanusi’s family over the demise of the ex-deputy governor’s wife.
This was contained in a statement issued by the APC Publicity Secretary in Ondo State, Alex Kalejaiye.

The statement read: “The state chairman of the party, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, described sad development as ill-timed, shocking and unfortunate. He said Alhaja was a strong pillar behind the husband’s political success story.
“The party chairman urged Baba Olanusi, the bereaved families, and entire Supare community in Akoko South West Local Government to take solace in that the departed lived a worthy and fulfilled life.”
